Urgent requirement Senior RA ( Oil & Gas)


Requirements : 3 to 4 years of work of research or relevant experience, with a demonstrated ability to consistently deliver quality output.

1. We are open to candidates that may not be working as research analysts today, however their existing role requires them to perform secondary or primary research to accomplish their tasks.

- Experience OR education in Oil &Gas industry is mandatory - i.e. petrochemicals/specialty chemicals/exploration and production/drilling/upstream and downstream market

2. Understanding of the oil and gas value chain. (The production process and other generic technical details of the upstream and downstream processes)

- Knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain corporate functions and processes is a plus

- Any experience in managing (directly or indirectly) junior team members will be a plus

- Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills

Key Responsibilities :

- As part of a growing market intelligence practice, this position will require you to work on projects that are important for our client's procurement organization and their overall functional success in specific spend area (e.g. chemicals, Engg. & Construction etc.)

- On specified topics (which will be O&G specific), you will be responsible to deliver thorough research reports that captures information that is important to a procurement stakeholder. This would typically include aspects like supply-demand analysis, supply base overview, pricing/cost information and others

- Post 3 months of joining, you will be expected to deliver 4-6 such projects every quarter

- Within 6 months of joining, we expect you to design research assignments with clients, and single-handedly own and manage its delivery

- Work with client's key stakeholders to understand their business requirements and structure MI reports to address those requirements

- As a senior research member, you will mentor junior/new analysts on their research assignments and provide QA support

- Proactively deliver thought leadership/blogs to portray GEP as one of the thought leaders in industry

Reporting structure : He/She would directly report to the Research lead (i.e. either Research Advisor or Principal Advisor)

- Analytical thinker , someone who can decode client's business challenges and structure/deliver research output to mitigate those issues
