Sr Consultant - Supplier Governanace Audit

Job description

Position will be responsible for conducting Supplier Governance Audit for one of the leading global conglomerate. The person would be responsible for ensuring compliance to various sourcing policies across various businesses like Real Estate, Treasury, Lending etc. The job also involves working on various project in domain areas like internal audit reviews, enterprise risk assessments, operational process reviews, Sox s404 documentation and control testing, evaluating internal controls etc.

Required qualifications

- Post graduate qualification as an MBA or CA. CFE, CIA, or CISA a plus. Graduate with 5 years totally relevant experience may be considered as an exception.

- Required experience of 2-4 years in internal and/or external audit, process re-engineering, process reviews, Sarbanes-Oxley implementation, Finance function or risk management function at a Top Corporate.

- Strong report writing and presentation skills, an analytical mind, and problem solving abilities.

- Position requires the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and handle confidential information discretely and professionally.

- Must be able to react to deadlines with flexibility and professionalism.

- Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel, Visio.

- Excellent communication, relationship building and critical thinking skills.

- Ability to travel for 50% of the time.

Position will:

- Execute a pre-defined Review schedule

- Analysis and substantive review of transactions to ensure compliance to the Supplier Risk Management (SRM) procedures

- Liaise with SBU SRMs and BU SRLs to agree deficiencies and actions

- Prepare draft report of Reviews at the end of each cycle (3 months), update action logs to monitor closure of open actions

- Provide feedback to the SRM Assurance & Monitoring Manager for updating and modifying the assurance test schedules and approach

- Prepare weekly progress summaries of Reviews

- First point of contact for the BU/ SBU to obtain clarification on applicability and operational aspect of SRM procedures

- Identify and share SRM best practices at BU/ Sub-BU levels and communicate to the SRM Effectiveness Manager

- Maintain strong client focus by building strong relationships with clients, scheduling and conducting key client meetings.

- Guide the less experienced staff on the assignment.
