Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Credit Analysis

Responsibilities

In this role, you would be supporting a large US bank in their Asset-Backed Finance (ABF) business. ABF group provides capital markets-based financing solutions to corporate and commercial customers, including finance companies, mortgage companies, and asset managers. Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Analysis of financial statements/offer memorandum/term sheets to judge the liquidity and credit worthiness of the clients for lending/equity perspective

- Regular Credit Approvals and Monitoring of the portfolio

- Extensive coordination with the on-shore team on the workflow

- Knowledge of credit origination including the basic process, collateral analysis/amortization, analyzing terms and conditions and its impact on deal execution

- Monitoring and internal reporting post closure of a deal

- Regular tracking on deal collateral and analysis of the credit quality and liquidity

Qualifications

- PG: MBA/PGDM (Finance)

Preferred qualifications

- Any prior work experience in credit research or financial statement analysis

- Min. 1-3 years of work experience

Preferred skills:

- Strong Analytical skills

- Strong Excel skills

- Good communication skills & highly proactive in approach

- Ability to manage & prioritize deliverables

- Ability to be learn and apply new processes and tools
