Summary of Role / Profile:
Roles & Responsibilities: As part of supply chain practice, he/she will have following responsibilities to help meet/exceed the Supply Chain Practice's financial and growth objectives:
- Conduct diagnostic studies (2-8 week duration) to identify, analyze and prioritize client's supply chain issues
- Independently develop customized Supply Chain solutions in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Deployment planning, Allocation planning and other supply chain functions. This includes responding to requests for proposal/information, development of Genpact Point of View on client challenges, development of solutions (process redesign/analytics/digital interventions) with commercials/pricing
- Lead the implementation of strategic projects within client's supply chain functions
- Collaborate with the Genpact transitions functions to enable the set-up of client's supply chain operations at Genpact
- Collaborate with Genpact Sales teams and Supply chain Operations teams to take the Genpact solutions to market, support training of sales resources
- Champion aggressively all the Supply chain products & solutions with clients and internal stakeholders
- Seek, consolidate and share with the Supply Chain Product leaders, feedback from clients for Genpact products and services
- Gather client intelligence to validate product development plans for Supply Chain products and services
- Demonstrate thought leadership by writing Blogs, Articles, Whitepapers

- Scale up client/market facing capabilities in the US (the top-priority market for the growth of the Supply Chain Practice), get access to greater number of RFx, increase the breadth of contacts within the Supply Chain Officer organizations
- Enable the Practice to expand from smaller scale / incremental projects to 100+FTE/large scale programs
- Establish Supply Chain as one of the premier service lines (aligned to the Blueprint 2.0 goals)

What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant for this role:
- 10+ years in Supply Chain domain with significant exposure to supply chain strategy development/implementation or supply chain operations
- At least 3-5 years of experience with working with CxOs, CxO - 1 stakeholders on supply chain issues
- Bachelors or Masters degrees in Supply Chain Management / Operations Research / Manufacturing management / Logistics
Specific competencies (Essential) :
- Strong experience in one of SCM areas Demands Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning / Integrated Business Planning / CPFR, Logistics, Inventory Management expertise.
- Business consulting experience or internal consulting (in case of non-consulting companies) in supply chain
- Prior experience in and proven track record of leading large supply chain management programs/projects (100+ resource or $20M+ or large technology platform change) OR Experience in working with companies to execute supply chain growth from existing as well as new client accounts
- Exposure to product development in one of supply chain areas: Demand Planning, Supply network planning, Inventory optimization, others
- Functional knowledge of technology tools/platforms in the supply chain space (SAP SNP/DP, JDA SCP/DM/Factory Planner, Llamasoft Optimiza, Kinaxis Rapid Response etc.)
Specific competencies (Highly preferred) :
- Deep understanding/appreciation of supply chain trends, industry issues, digital / technology growth areas
- Strong client management skills to build trust-based relationships (handling structured and unstructured conversations, ability to understand client's cultural nuances and flexing Genpact content accordingly, maneuver between setting realistic client expectations - better than competition - within internal Genpact constraints)
- Ability to work in a matrix reporting relationships and global environment, with strong enough communication skills to influence multiple internal stakeholders
