Designation : Assistant Vice President -Data Network Architect

Experience : 12+ years

Location : Gurgaon / Hyderabad

- The focus of the role is to define and develop new solutions for the global IT organizations, with specialization in Data Networks and Information Security. This role will help us build solutions which are scalable and consistent across Global Genpact.

- The individual is expected to be a consultant to the IT infrastructure operations teams in helping define the new solutions,, improve existing models of work and make us more agile and cost effective.

Specific competences ( Essential ) :

- Advanced knowledge of protocols including BGP, EIGRP, tunneling protocols including IPSEC, GRE, VRRP, HSRP, LACP etc.

- Advanced knowledge of routing technologies including network virtualizaton like MPLS and VRF

- Advanced knowledge of switching technologies & Quality of Service

- Experience with VOIP components and converged networks

- Written and oral communication skills

- Data Center technologies knowledge and experience

- High availability design experience

- Network Design and hands on Implementation knowledge.

- Expert in CISCO/ MPLS and major network topology / design

- Good Understanding of security domain and technology

- Hands-on major network equipment's like CISCO/Juniper/Palo Alto

- Advanced working knowledge with contact center /telecom service provider /vendors who provide technologies (Avaya / Cisco)

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical direction and frameworks to meet business needs.

- Provide expert consultation for major network initiatives or incidents.

- Produce and/or endorse network standards.

- Provide advice and recommendations specific to customer requirements.

- Evaluate emerging technologies against business and IT strategic needs and be the change catalyst.

- Serve as a key representative on major network initiatives .

- Update standards and guidelines.

- Write technical and business documentation.

- Lead high level scoping and costing activities.

- Guide and influence team members and business colleagues.

- Create presentations/solutions and articulate to boards and executives.

- Work with other SMEs and technical support teams in the pursuit of technically excellent solutions.

- Produce technically excellent solutions architecture that is aligned to business needs and direction.

- Work with the network operations and project delivery teams to promote network standards and compliance
