Job Overview
This position is for Strategic Revenue Management Team. SRM Team works on supporting the Revenue Management initiatives across General Mills Segments globally.
A Successful candidate will -
- Lead projects and be accountable for all reporting and analytics project on it
- Evaluate multiple data sources (POS data, Panel Data, Consumption Data) and synthesize this data to draw detailed analysis and insights. Provide the story not just the data
Job Responsibilities
90% of Time - Operational Responsibilities-
- Assists in the development, management, and execution of performance management processes, including standardized KPI reporting for planning and business review purposes
- Extract the most relevant information answering the research needs from the relevant databases.
- Work on Business Issue related projects and tasks related to data mining, data synthesizing and presenting a compelling story
- Evaluate multiple data sources (POS data, Panel Data, Consumption Data) and synthesize this data to draw detailed analysis and insights
- Create, maintain and update of recurring (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports for the businesses. Ensure quality & timely delivery of all Reporting needs
- Work closely with stakeholders to support them on their project needs
- End to end project management on multiple projects that are going on
10% of Time - Self-Development
- Complete and Leverage IDP for self-development
- Identify and undergo self-learning modules
- Participate in project related trainings
- Make presentations on the right forum

Education
Minimum Degree Requirements: Masters
Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
Preferred Major Area of Study: Marketing / Market Research
Experience
Minimum years of related experience required: 6 years
Preferred years of related experience: 6-8 years
Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
- Strong technical knowledge of Syndicated research (Point of Sale / Panel data). Expert in using one POS tool (Nielsen Nitro, Answers, IRI, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical, organizational/prioritization and communications skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and businesses together
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Problem solving skill
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Intermediary SQL expertise
- Prior Experience in CPG industry/Nielsen preferred
- Experience with Statistics, Visualization a plus
