About The Role:

We are seeking a visionary and strategic GM/VP - Sales & Marketing to lead our client's sales function and drive exponential growth both in domestic and export markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Strategy:

- Define and lead the overall sales and marketing strategy across national and international markets

- Identify high-potential markets and develop go-to-market strategies to scale revenue

- Set ambitious sales targets and ensure consistent achievement through effective planning and execution

- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and forecasting system to drive predictable growth

Team Leadership & Development

- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales & marketing team across regions

- Set clear KPIs, review performance, and guide team members toward continuous improvement

- Encourage collaboration between sales, marketing, product, and operations to align objectives

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

- Personally drive acquisition of key accounts and strategic partnerships

- Nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and industry influencers

- Create frameworks for customer engagement, retention, and satisfaction

Brand & Marketing Leadership:

- Drive brand positioning, digital marketing, and promotional activities aligned with sustainability values

- Represent the company at industry forums, trade events, and global platforms to enhance visibility

- Oversee the development of marketing collaterals, case studies, and campaigns to support sales

Market Intelligence & Product Alignment:

- Monitor global trends in packaging, sustainability practices, and regulatory changes

- Conduct competitive analysis and develop strategies to maintain market leadership

Required Competencies:

Professional Competencies

- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in flexible packaging or related industries

- Deep understanding of flexible packaging technology, global sustainability trends, and export sales dynamics

- Strong commercial acumen, pricing strategy knowledge, and deal structuring expertise

- Experience in CRM tools, sales analytics, digital marketing, and customer engagement platforms

- Ability to manage P&L responsibilities and prepare strategic business reports

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Experience & Qualifications:

- Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing

- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within flexible/sustainable packaging or a related manufacturing sector

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or equivalent

- Global market exposure and experience in export sales is a must
