General Manager - Apparel Trade Marketing
About the Role:
- We are looking for a General Trade Marketing Professional with a Minimum of 10 years of Trade Marketing experience work experience in the Innerwear / Hosiery / Apparel segments of the Garment Industry.
- The expert at General Trade Marketing would be responsible to develop, steer and implement a holistic Trade Marketing Activation plan for B2B and retail verticals of our client's Apparel Men's innerwear business, all in accordance with guidelines and our strategic business plan.
The Core Responsibility:
a. To increase demand with supply chain partners ie the existing distributors and retailers of the Innerwear business.
b. To appoint new distributors and retailers across India in all Innerwear Segments / product line-up.
c. To develop and implement well thought-out strategies (product launch, loyalty program, etc.) that increases success rate and brand perception.
Job Duties:
1. To lead the overall trade marketing plans with directional support from Heads of Sales and Marketing departments in order to maximize the client's innerwear business.
2. Being the sole driver of "Visual Merchandising" from an execution and monitoring perspective.
3. Ensuring execution and commercial impact of the client's Marketing Plan
4. Driving innovative programs that ensure product 'sell-in' and 'sell-out' in both B2B stores and in the client's own stores.
5. Driving seasonal trade marketing plans and strategies PAN India
6. Ensuring proper customer relationship management collaboratively with the Sales Head across regions and territories.
7. Ensuring that the Sales Team members are adequately trained in Visual Merchandising and adhere to set-up norms.
8. Implementing and continuously develop innovative store concept & drive improvements where required.
9. Driving the "full fixture programs" - i.e., from a development, testing and implementation perspective.
10. Co-create with Marketing team the various packaging concepts in order to maximize sell-out at point of sale.
11. Be at the heart of creating "window and soft shop guidelines" i.e., as per approved plan.
12. Coordinating and supporting windows and soft shops implementation efforts together with the Marketing responsible in each region and market segmentation.
13. Creating, Managing the Drive the "General Trade Marketing Budget" along with the Marketing Head.
14. Leading & supporting the execution and communication of tradeshows as per approved plan.
15. Capture and translate shopping trends, set targets and evolve new concepts.
