Job Description:
Function: GM Talent management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain current and future capability of employees and the organization through talent development thus ensuring availability of a leadership pipeline for the organization and planned development initiatives for the employee.
- Employee Engagement: Drive the organization's culture/engagement survey; and develop implementation strategies to narrow the gap between the desired and actual culture.
- Engage with business; design/monitor post engagement action planning workshops to increase engagement within business units.
Candidate Profile:
Talent & Career Management:
- Identification of leadership development requirements by conducting needs analysis on organization results, job requirements, operational problems, company plans and forecasts and current training programs.
- Lead the succession planning exercise, and play an active part in organization re-structuring or design exercises to ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance with company policy.
- Develop policy, process and initiatives to meet aspirations on talent management, career development, succession planning and management development in line with the talent/learning and development strategies.
- Track career movements and reviewing progress on development plan thereby creating visibility of talent members through cross - functional projects.
Change Driver:
- Enable change management by serving as change management advisor to senior leadership.
- Provide change management guidance for major corporate initiatives to define, clarify and translate business strategy, build team effectiveness and drive relevant initiatives.
Key Challenges:
- Build engagement culture by keeping the employee pulse high during the change management efforts
- To break the resistance to change amongst the employees particularly during any organizational changes
- Manage the transparency and fairness while designing various talent management initiatives
- Generate awareness and acceptance of function heads during launch of various OD interventions
- Creating traction for development agenda among the leadership team.
Learning & Development:
- Identify critical talent and capability gaps across business and create various learning interventions to build the individual/organizational capability as per the Plan.
- Drive the 360 degree feedback initiative (organizing, promoting, reporting and action planning)
Competency:
- Leadership Development and Management:- Identification and development of leadership talent
- Writing and implementation of development plans for high potential leaders
