We are looking for a General Manager - Talent Acquisition (Sales Hiring) for an Indian Pharmaceutic
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Recruitment Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top sales talent.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and forecast staffing needs.
- Create annual and quarterly hiring plans based on sales forecasts and strategic goals.
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for all sales positions, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Drive innovative sourcing techniques, including social media, networking events, and talent mapping.
- Develop partnerships with universities, industry associations, and organizations to build a talent pipeline.
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand specific needs and provide strategic guidance on talent acquisition.
- Ensure alignment between recruitment strategies and business objectives.
- Conduct regular meetings with hiring managers to review recruitment progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters to achieve recruitment goals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the recruitment budget, ensuring cost-effective hiring practices.
- Monitor recruitment expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Implement strategies to remain within budget without compromising recruitment quality.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and innovative recruitment techniques.
- Integrate technology and automation to streamline recruitment workflows.
Branding and Marketing:
- Enhance the company's employer brand to attract top sales talent.
- Develop and execute recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Manage the company's presence on job boards, social media, and other recruitment channels.
Candidate Experience:
- Drive a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding.
- Develop and maintain a robust candidate feedback system.
- Address candidate concerns and queries promptly and professionally.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Establish and track recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Monitor and report on diversity and inclusion metrics within the recruitment process.
Onboarding and Integration:
- Collaborate with the onboarding and HR Operations team to develop and implement an effective onboarding process for new hires.
Industry Benchmarking:
- Conduct a competition study on field hiring and benchmarking in recruitment.
- Adopt best practices from competitors and industry leaders.
Employee Engagement:
- Maintain regular, proactive communication and support for field employees and new hires.
- Implement regular feedback loops and engagement activities for field employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree in Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Pharma Sales talent acquisition.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting high-performing sales professionals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking ability with strong execution skills.
