Position Title: GM Strategy & Projects
Reports to: CEO-India
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is accountable to partner with the CEO to develop the company's overall business strategy for all businesses and lead the annual operational planning process and development of the quarterly operating plan.
Key activities include:
- To develop & assist strategy deployment for existing business revenue streams and overall business growth
- Evaluate market size, competitor accomplishments and industry structures
- Creation of business plans for all new product/ product lines
- Develop Profitability models for businesses within India
- Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall Strategy Head:
1.Partner with the business leaders to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance.
2.Ensure timely and accurate metrics and forecasts are created and maintained
3.Identify and develop new business opportunities/ business lines and drive efficiency while balancing customer promise
4.Work with Senior Management to develop short and long-term strategic business goals
5.Support projects for new business initiatives
6.Will be accountable for a direct team of 2 direct reportees

ESSENTIAL -
1. Should be a strategic/ out of the box thinker with an eye for execution detail
2. Highly developed communication and presentation skills across multiple geographies and cultures
3. Should be innovative and able to come up with solutions to overcome challenges
4. He/ she should have minimum 10-12 years of experience from reputed consumer industries; CD, FMCG, Electronics etc.
5. Ability to collaborate and coordinate across global, regional and local teams in both a service and execution capacity
6. High on work ethics & result orientation
