- We are seeking an experienced M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) Expert specialising in the healthcare sector, particularly hospitals.
- The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of M&A processes, with a focus on healthcare industry regulations, trends, and best practices.
- This role will involve guiding and facilitating M&A transactions within the hospital sector, ensuring seamless transitions and successful integration of acquired entities.
About the role:
- The Strategy Lead for Business Transformation will play a critical role in driving organisational change and growth by identifying, evaluating, and executing key strategic initiatives, including hospital acquisition candidates, operational improvement, and business model restructuring.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify the potential candidates for Acquisitions & Partnerships based on organisational specifications.
- Lead the evaluation process, including initial filtering, analysis, and coordination of due diligence (DD).
- Collaborate with relevant departments to facilitate the closure process for finalised acquisitions.
- Explore, negotiate, and structure potential operator model arrangements both within and outside India.
- Develop roadmap for IPO of hospital business, including subsequent execution steps.
- Evaluate inorganic acquisition candidates for hospitals.
- Analytics of hospital performance indicators with root cause problem solving.
- Conduct necessary travel to support operator model exploration where relevant.
- Benchmark financial and operational parameters against best practices to identify and drive improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with existing operations to align efforts and implement transformation strategies.
- Participate actively in due diligence processes, investments, and financial strategy, ensuring thorough analysis and risk mitigation.
- Provide expertise in project finance, business modeling, and financial planning to support strategic initiatives.
- Lead and execute business transformation projects, focusing on growth strategies, revenue assurance, and business expansion.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans that align with organisational objectives.
- Manage relationships with key vendors, including insurance companies and other third-party service providers.
- Ensure smooth coordination between internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Provide necessary support in other relevant areas as required, including analytics, business planning, internal audit, and day-to-day operations management.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in handling IPO/listing process.
- Experience in investment banking setup preferred.
- Hospital sector experience required (either operating experience or as consultant/investment banker.
- Proven skills in business transformation, strategic and business planning, and growth strategy development.
- Proficient in financial and business modeling, project finance, and revenue assurance.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of the healthcare sector and its operational benchmarks.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and internal audit functions.
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
Experience :
- Approximately 10+ years in reputed organisations with exposure in similar role.
