Job Description :   Role: GM, Strategy & BD and EA to MD   Department: MD's office and Strategy & BD team   Organization: USD 10+ Bn Conglomerate; a professionally managed firm  Location : Gurgaon, Corporate Office   Reporting to : MD   Reporting Relationship: 3-5 member Corporate Planning team   Brief: The role is primarily of GM, Strategy and for initial some time (6 months - 1 year) the role would have an EA to MD mix to enable incumbent to learn the various aspects of businesses across sectors. Post that the role will transition of head of strategy of a select business line  - Enable periodic Business performance review for the MD and highlight deviations to develop corrective strategies and enable fact based decision making  - Coordinate with business/unit heads and independent department heads to identify their areas, and their concern points to the MD   - Scan the environment to identify opportunities for business expansion and develop business case backed by solid business/financial modeling. Acquire board approval and developing operational plan  - Take part in operational/business/expense rationalization initiatives along with the finance/excellence team. Primarily be an overseer of large scale transformation projects   - Expected to engage with industry forums to be a thought leader and steer the company in right direction   - Scan the industry for appropriate acquisition opportunities, conduct full fledged due diligence and develop transactions/financial/structuring models  Educational and behavioral competencies:   - MBA from tier 1 B School - only IIMs/ISB/Ivy League (non negotiable)   - 5+ post MBA work exposure in top tier strategy consulting firms or strategy team of MNCs  - Superior senior level stakeholder management skills  - Superior presentation, negotiation and convincing skills  Please mention your CTC and notice period details with the application (requisite details for application to be considered)
