Experience : 10-15 years post qualification

Key skills : Handling Direct tax and Indirect tax

Roles and Responsibilities :

Direct tax :

- Preparation of tax computation, deferred tax workings under Ind AS

- Attending regular assessment, queries/disputes with Revenue Authorities

- Co-coordinating with Consultant for Stay matters

- Ensure monthly payment of TDS, Quarterly TDS returns

- Handling Tax audit and return filing

- Working with external counsels and liaising with Revenue Authorities to expedite the closure of open tax issues

Indirect Tax JD :

- Attending regular assessment, queries/disputes with Revenue Authorities

- Appearing before Service Tax /GST authorities for Assessment

- Co-coordinating with Consultant for Stay matters

- Ensure monthly payment of GST

- Monthly e-payment of GST

- Ensure Filing Returns including yearend returns

- Replying to Show Cause Notices

- Estimating Contingent liability

- Working with external counsels and liaising with Revenue Authorities to expedite the closure of open tax issues
