Position: Head - Finance & Accounts (GM/Senior GM)

we are seeking a highly experienced and Preferably below 45 years, Head - Finance & Accounts to lead financial strategy, funding, budgeting, and stakeholder management, ensuring long-term profitability and growth.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA

Experience: Min. 15 yrs in finance, at least 5 yrs. in a senior financial leadership role.

Industry: Manufacturing, Agriculture, FMCG, or related industries.

Languages: Proficiency in English & Hindi.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership:

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth and profitability objectives.

- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial analysis.

- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the management team based on financial data.

2. Funding & Capital Management

- Identify and secure funding for business expansion and operations.

- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.

- Oversee capital structure and financial risk management.

3. Business Operations & Cost Optimisation

- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to enhance business performance.

- Establish financial controls and operational best practices to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Drive cost reduction initiatives while ensuring quality and profitability.

4. Product Pricing & Costing

- Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability while staying competitive.

- Ensure accurate cost analysis and oversee cost management of products.

- Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for optimization.

5. Budgeting & Financial Reporting

- Oversee annual budgeting and ensure alignment with strategic business goals.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, statements, and performance analysis.

- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.

6. Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary financial contact for investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

- Ensure transparent communication and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

- Represent the company in financial negotiations and discussions with external partners.

7. Governance, Risk & Compliance

- Implement risk management frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Oversee tax planning and ensure adherence to all direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).

- Stay updated on new financial regulations and ensure company-wide compliance.
