Senior General Manager / General Manager - Sales Job Statement/Job Purpose: The position aims to generate sales for the specific division in the international market by developing a sales and distribution channel across different regions to cater to the Private Label manufacturers and coffee traders in the soluble coffee segment. Qualifications: Education Level: PG/Graduate with Management degree Years of relevant experience: a total of 15+ years. Experience in the coffee industry with trading in green beans or Instant coffee is a critical success factor. Should have a good context of B2B business in the coffee industry across multiple locations across the world. Should have global exposure and experience of working with International clients Key Attributes: - Should be able to identify and create a strong network with the Private Label players across the region. - Should be able to identify and develop the trading partners in the instant coffee space - Should be able to maximize value for the division - Identifying solutions in packaging, payment and logistic support - Should be able to work towards the budgeted figure of the division. - Should possess excellent communication and negotiation skill to close the sale - Ability to develop the personal relationship with the customers in order to achieve repeat sales. Principal Accountabilities: Technical : - Capability to identify and develop markets in Private Labels (SKU) business across all geographies. - Capability to identify the trading opportunities in the instant coffee space - Capability to identify competitors and develop plans in consultation with the reporting manager to mitigate such competition. - Implementing the sales strategy across all geographies to achieve the assigned top line targets - Ability to interpret market information and providing the information to the concerned senior management members in order to facilitate a faster decision-making process. Operational : - Responsible for achieving sales objectives in the assigned market for Private Labels (SKUs) and instant coffee trading - Manage customer relationships. - Competitor benchmarking and analysis of market data. - Effective customer complaint management. - Drive new product developments incorporating customer requirements. - Collaborating with other functions to ensure on-time delivery, quality and defect free products to customers. Knowledge, Skills &amp; Attitude Required for this position: - Should be able to identify and segment the markets based on the needs and preferences of the customers. - Key account management - Play a dynamic role in creating new customer base and blends on a regular basis to have an edge over competitors - Should follow the values and ethics of the company - Cultural and Language skills of different regions will be an added advantage - Travelling Required for this Position - Will be required to travel as per the demands of the assignment
