General Manager - Sales & Service - Manufacturing

The General Manager-Sales & Service is responsible for leading the Sales and Service teams for all of India. S/he is primarily responsible for the direction and control of all sales activities encompassing development, planning, and implementation of sales strategies for India products and services.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

- Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand dealer and customer network

- Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets

- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

- Maintains national sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

- Identifying key areas for improvement in the sales process.

- Spotting market opportunities and evaluating/recommending product placement

- Evaluate fiscal requirements and review budgetary recommendations; monitor the verification and reconciling of budgeted funds.

- Maintaining and improving CSI

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

- Monitor the development of all contractual agreements to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; evaluate pricing structures, service dealership and sales distributorship to ensure high quality dealer and distributor performance.

Frequent contact with distributors, consultants, existing and potential customers and relevant governmental authorities in India
