Indicative Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base across India.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a large sales team to ensure they meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Strengthen relationships with existing distributors and appoint new distributors in unrepresented areas, ensuring a strong market presence.
- Conduct competition mapping and analysis to understand market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Oversee field management activities, including training and support for the sales team to enhance their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with company goals and a cohesive approach to market penetration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales role, managing PAN India operations, preferably in the PVC, wood, plywood, or MDF industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large teams.
- Demonstrated ability in distributor appointment, field management, and competition mapping.
- Prior experience in handling at least a whole region is required; area or zonal managers may not meet the criteria for this role.
- Bachlor/master degree in Marketing or related field is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across India.
