Role: General Manager
Overview: Over the last few years we have built capabilities, processes & ecosystem locally to successfully run a Packaged Foods business. This along with our local manufacturing base and the duty structure within West Africa (ECOWAS) permits us to do business with neighboring countries more effectively & at a cost advantage over other imported brands. The targeted markets are supply driven & currently have limited range of products available. This presents us with a good opportunity to enter, develop the markets & grow business by giving consumer better choice & value.
Tasks/KRA -
- Market Scoping to validate assumptions & carve out entry strategy
- Crystallize Entry Strategy including Phasing, Key Pillars & Team Structure
- Execute Phase wise
- Create Network, Expand Distribution, Channel Marketing & Development, Marketing & NPD
- B2B Sales & Business Development, Product Development, Key Account Handling.
- Achieve sales in Wholesale Channel.
- Ensure that all the direct and indirect costs for the business are within budgets
- Counterparty & Credit Risk Management
Requirement: We are looking for a General Manager with strong Sales & Marketing background to will help us scope the market in depth, help us to carve out the entry strategy & eventually execute the business plan.
Candidates from tier 1 MBA colleges and with 8 to 12 yrs of exp are only requested to apply.
