- Our Client, established in 2010, has shaken the market with traditional Indian drinks. The idea of selling traditional drinks packaged was one of the most innovative ideas in the Indian market and it is today among the fastest growing brands in the FMCG space.
- As the General Manager - Sales (Beverages), you will be handling GT sales for North and West regions and be responsible for the top line and bottom line for GT.
What you will do :
- Managing sales and profitability for general trade channel
- Planning and budgeting for sales targets by closely managing and monitoring working capital
- Developing sales strategies, and overseeing the development and management of internal operating budgets
- Managing entire sales team and ensuring smooth functioning of the department
- Driving the sales team to focus on channel wise distribution to build distribution, visibility and volumes
- Performing market and environmental scanning, advising on business trends and changes in the marketplace
- Analysing market trends and behavior to uncover new business and sales opportunities
- Representing the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
- Developing relationships with key decision makers within the industry
- Supervising the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs
- Promoting positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors
- Developing processes and systems for enhancing efficiency in the business
- Working closely with the business heads and top management in managing the consistency of the brand and supporting them with initiatives which are in line with the business objectives
What you need to know/have :
- At least 10 years of experience in FMCG (beverages or snacks) in North & West regions
- Should have definitely worked in North in RSM role
- Should have worked in at least two different FMCG (beverages or snacks) companies
- Should have managed FMCG Brands (beverages or snacks) that have a low price point product as key business driver such as Rs.10
- Should have worked / is still working in brands that have Super Stockist model in distribution
- Should have managed a team of people and scale of business to take on larger challenges
- Strong commercial acumen and key account development skill
- Flexible for moderate travel - Pan India
- Strong Communication Skills
