Purpose : Catalyst in developing and achieving long term and short term goals in the organization while optimizing the overall business risk profile.

Education :

- CA / MBA - Finance

- Dual qualification would be preferred with one in Business Administration (MBA)

Experience :

- 15-20 years of deep experience in Sales Finance and Partnering domain; preferably with large Pharma and Medtech companies having Global operations

- Have worked across 2-3 culturally varied markets

- Worked on Sales transformation projects and played key role in productivity improvement

- Good understanding of Customer profitability measures and growth process

- Handled long range planning project and successfully delivered Market share and profitability growth targets

- Should have worked in Sales and Marketing function for 5-7 years

Duties/Responsibilities :

- Collaborates with Sales & Marketing teams to create and implement long-range, strategic plans for the respective Cluster including Financial Projections.

- Drive market mapping exercise for Long term planning and resource allocation; build driver based planning models

- Engage with Sales & Senior Leadership to ensure buy-in and ownership of the strategic planning process

- Facilitate the development of annual operating plans that support the execution of the strategic plan

- Identify opportunities and action plans to ensure organization attains leading position in the respective Cluster and countries

- Work closely as a Co-pilot with Global Sales Leaders in improving Business outcomes - budget sales, margins, investment (inventory & AR) across countries and Clusters

- Finalize and release of Sales targets and incentive letters to sales teams

- Train and manage teams in handling their day-to-day responsibilities and nurtures team to groom them as next level leaders

- Contribute to Creativity ecosystem within the Cluster on various areas as Customer centric business model, gain market share, productivity improvement areas and/or other areas.

- Monitor progress, identify actions and actively work to resolve constraints /course corrections as needed

- Identify and track key performance indicators to measure progress against the approved annual budgets and 5-year strategic plans

- Develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal stakeholders

- Prepare regular reports on the status of the strategic plan for presentation to the Board of Directors and other senior leaders

- Drives consistent adoption of best practices and processes across countries and cluster to build ONE ORGANIZATION

- Stay abreast of best practices in the field of strategic planning and customer centricity, sales productivity

- Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities :

- Strong financial knowledge with ability to improve Business Health - customer profitability, inventory turns and sales productivity

- Hardworking, passionate and committed to deliver results with an entrepreneurial mindset; strong execution capability; achieve deadlines

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Drives interpersonal relationships with Sales Leaders

- Good understanding of business administration, customer segmentation, sales and inventory forecasting strategies and techniques, Pricing and discounts, Competitive landscape analysis, Business Model design and optimization

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Working knowledge of Project Management

- Good understanding of Supply Chain especially distribution and logistics network.
