- It is a leading construction company looking for a General Manager to be based out of Bangalore

Job duties for construction managers include calculating cost estimates, budgets and schedules selecting appropriate construction methods for the job and budget explaining contracts and technical information to employees supervising construction personnel and activities onsite developing work-arounds for delays and other problems and hiring and training workers and subcontractors, as well as making sure the project meets all building and safety codes.

- Collaboration with Clients and Building Professionals

- General managers in the construction industry also spend a good deal of time interacting with clients and other building professionals, especially in the early phases of a project.

- In addition to the time spent in the initial negotiations for the project, they have to give clients regular progress updates and submit budget reports.

- These mangers also spend significant time collaborating with architects, engineers, inspectors and other building specialists.
