'IDF' is the leader in industrial and military UAV manufacturing in India with over 90% market share. The organization was established in 2007 by IIT-Bombay alumni and is based out of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. ideaForge co-designed India's first Military UAV, Netra with the Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO) and is also responsible for engineering the then world's lightest Autopilot.

'IDF' develops completely indigenous technology for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Our organization is the pioneer in the UAS segment in India and has multiple IPs to its credit including one for the World's Smallest Autopilot. Our in-house R&D, design, manufacturing, software, services and training operations give us the flexibility to customize products for an array of requirements. JOB DESCRIPTION :

The position will be responsible to create, identify, qualify, pursue and win business opportunities. This position leads as Sales & Business development (MHA) team, working in conjunction with the Vice President/CEO, as well as the Business Development (Industrial/ Enterprise) team. Candidate should be comfortable conversing in the key areas of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles / Unmanned Aerial Systems and various payloads. It's a quota carrying role with team responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Identifying opportunities to deliver profitable business across the CAPFs, State Police Forces, Forest Department, Smart City Missions, SDRFs.

- Must have ability to deal with internal stakeholders and execute tasks/ assignments set before and beyond KRA's/ KPI's

- Relationship management with key clients including Paramilitary forces and government agencies.

- Seeding product requirements at MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) and other customer organizations

- Presentation of product portfolio to officials at senior level budget estimation, price negotiations and closing the deals.

- Representing the organization in tender negotiations

- Designing and preparing business plans and sales pipeline and accurately forecasting business

- Analysis of enquiry, meeting with clients for pre-bid requirements. Creating a cogent and coherent strategy for Accounts and particular opportunities.

- Preparing offers RFI/ EOI and delivering technical presentations to showcase the products that meet specific customer requirements.

- Tracking the business trends and review of contracts

- A technology enthusiast with a good understanding of products to engage customers with an aim of conversion.

- Drive the underlying team to achieve and surpass Quota allocated.

- Responsible for maintaining high C-Sat (Customer satisfaction) scores in the allocated accounts

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

The ideal candidate for this challenging position should possess :

- Business development role and experience of closing Public Sector deals.

- Strong understanding of Public Procurement Process, GFRs and MHA specific rules.

- Competitive, flexible and resourceful professional with very good networking and communication skills. Open-minded, persuasive and able to deal with all levels at customer accounts

- Talented in writing proposals, giving presentations, forecasting and closing transactions.

- Candidate should have strong business acumen and a real commitment to achieving goals & results.

- Ability to work with Channel partners and drive the channel partners for Business closure.

- Ability to take 'IDF' relationships with the key stakeholders from pure transaction to strategic

- Must be well conversant with both Hardware and Software sales.

- Preference will be given to candidates who understand XaaS ("X" as a service) model and has implemented any such models.
