Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and manage a team of Area Business Managers across Karnataka. The role involves providing training, guidance, and support to the sales team to enhance their performance and achieve sales objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the animal feed industry and a deep understanding of distribution and network management.

Technical Skills:

Sales and Business Development:

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales and business development within the animal feed industry.

- Proven ability to establish and maintain a robust distribution network to ensure product availability in target markets.

- Experience in supply chain and logistics management to meet customer demands efficiently.

- Strong understanding of the livestock industry and animal feed products, particularly Total Mixed Ration (TMR).

Reporting and Analysis:

- Ability to prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Animal Science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Leadership:

- Experience in leading and managing a team, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance performance.

- Ability to conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Decision-Making and Independence:

- Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions to drive business growth.

- Willingness to travel extensively within Karnataka.
