Key Responsibilities:
Strategic sales and business growth:
- The incumbent will be responsible for selling subscription of VCCEdge platform and related custom solutions to Private Equity/Venture Capitalist, Investment Banks, BFSI, Corporate Law firms, Enterprise Technology Firms and relevant Large-sized Corporates etc. An understanding of the investment ecosystem in India is desirable.
- He/she requires a strategic approach of selling, account planning and relationship building/management with a sharp focus on sales numbers. The candidate must possess robust Key Account Management Skills with Solution Selling approach.
- He/she should have skills to grow business from existing customers as well as identify new accounts for Revenue Growth. Managing sales quotas as assigned & work along with team to accomplish the same
- Lead, negotiate and close multi-layered solution-based deals
- Strategic Accounts business - nurture and grow existing large accounts and subsequently increase revenue.
- Hunt and Create new Revenue Opportunities from Untapped Markets/ Accounts.
- Communicate effectively and develop relationships at various levels with senior management in different departments/business verticals within the account.
- Demonstrate a high level of business acumen and thorough understanding of the customer's business, organization, strategy, financial position and propose solutions that meet their objectives
- Account Management & Revenue Optimization - Possess a strong commercial drive to achieve and exceed given targets, especially in the realm of research and SaaS sales
- Responsible for due diligence in providing Account management data, accurate forecasting, and activity reports creating a solid foundation for strategic account planning
- Acts as a point of contact for client and attend to customer issues promptly as appropriate
- Determining pricing strategies for products or services based on market conditions and customer needs
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase sales and profits
- Demonstrate a high level of business acumen and thorough understanding of the customer's business, organization, strategy, financial position and propose solutions that meet their objectives
People Management:
- Leading a team of account managers/POD heads responsible for obtaining profitable results by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.
Key Performance Indicators Supporting Actions:
- Revenue Growth Responsible for generating revenue from both new and existing accounts
- New Business Acquisition Responsible for NBD by targeting untapped segments, geographies & clients
- Renewals Ensure revenue continuity by ensuring maximum renewal rate
