Key Responsibilities:

- Safety & Compliance Audits: Develop and implement safety and compliance audit programs to verify adherence to regulations like the Aerodrome License, DGCA CARs, and ICAO Annex and Manuals.

- Safety Management System (SMS): Conduct audits and training sessions on SMS implementation at the airport to ensure proper safety procedures are in place.

- Regulation Monitoring: Continuously track and update amendments to DGCA regulations and ensure that these updates are communicated to relevant departments for implementation.

- Safety Assessment Reports: Prepare safety reports, manage hazard logs, and collaborate with departments to mitigate risks based on SMS requirements.

- Stakeholder SMS Integration: Ensure integration of SMS with various stakeholders to maintain consistency in safety practices across the airport.

- Certification of New Infrastructure: Certify new airport infrastructure according to DGCA CAR standards before commissioning to ensure compliance.

- Document Audits: Review key documents such as the Delhi Airport Emergency Plan and the Aeronautical Information Publication (DAEP) for compliance with DGCA standards.

- Health & Passenger Safety Audits: Conduct audits on occupational health and passenger safety across all terminals and ensure necessary actions are taken.

- Fire Safety Audits: Perform regular audits of fire safety and prevention measures within terminal buildings.

- Regulation Reviews & Safety Publications: Regularly review regulations and practices, issuing safety directives and publications to enhance safety standards.

Key Interactions:

- External: Engages with the Airports Authority of India, DGCA, airlines, vendors, ground handling agencies, and other private airports.

- Internal: Collaborates with departmental heads (HODs), maintenance and engineering teams, airside operations, and commercial planning units within DIAL.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Non-Medical Sciences (BSc) or Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical).

- Certification in Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program from ACI & ICAO.

- Advanced knowledge of ICAO Service & Design Manuals (Annex 14) and computer proficiency.

Experience: 15 to 18 years in airport operations, with at least 3 years in audit and compliance roles.
