General Manager - Quality - Fruit & Vegetables

WE are looking for GM Quality - Fruit and Vegetables for leading hyper local company based at Bangalore

- Our client is well funded with presence in 8 cities and expanding .

- Compensation can be negotiated accordingly.

- Premium B School candidate' will be preferred.

Job Description: 

In this role, you are primarily responsible to drive quality for Fruits & Vegetables category, Pan India 

Your Responsibilities: 

- Create processes and metrics of quality by observing and identifying areas in need of improvement and implement programs to ensure quality

- Ensure Quality Standards as per FSSAI Compliance

- Conduct both internal and external audits/visits & report audit results and implement new/existing activities to critically analyse and improve quality/safety gaps

- Ensuring that the quality system established is improved, implemented and maintained

- Develops, implements, trains, and maintains all quality programs, HACCP programsto ensure compliance and local health department standards.

- Effectively communicate food safety and ingredient/product quality concerns to management

- Lead and manage a team of around 6 AMs & indirect responsibility of around 20+ Team Leads

Requirements:

- Competent in leading internal & internal audits for customer compliance

- Knowledge of food safety & regulatory requirements

- Compile reports on all quality safety & service

- Result-oriented while at the same time instigating root cause analysis to improve performance gaps
