General Manager - Quality Audits/External Audits & Certification - HACCP/FSSC/FSSAI - Foods/Beverages Industry

GM - Quality Audits (HACCP/FSSC/FSSAI) - External Audits/3rd party audits with Testing, Inspection, and Certification agency experience is highly preferred.

We are currently looking for a GM - Quality Audits for India's topmost foods and beverages company. The position is to be based at their Head Office in Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities :

Coordinating and Conducting Value added audits and training of the Beverage Manufacturing Units, Packaged Drinking Water units, Raw Materials Packaging materials Suppliers, any other essential audits as per food safety requirements.

- Responsible to ensure compliance of the units as per QA Systems and FSSAI standards.

- Plan schedule for execution of audits for Number of plants, franchise and vendors

- Plan Mandays of training to be conducted

- Submission of consistent, complete and accurate reports on time

- Measuring effectiveness of Training and Audits

- Supporting QA and plant team for effective closure of corrective actions in a timely manner.

- Analysis and presentation of the reports

- Assisting teams in forming auditing standards and designing checklists.

- Prepare, maintain and adhere to the Audit schedule

- Assisting all stakeholders for process improvements

- Designing training templates on food safety, quality and other management system

- Planning and conducting training programmes for plants, franchises, in India

Knowledge :

- Regulatory awareness, networking, committed, team player, customer focused.

- Exceptional presentation, writing and communication skills.

- Understanding of Food Safety laws, expertise in food safety based standards, HACCP / ISO 22000 /FSSC 22000 implementation.

Auditing and Training skills on ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000.

External Audits/3rd party audits with Testing, Inspection and Certification agency Experience is highly preferred.

Education and Experience -

- Graduate in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Science, Dairy Technology, Food Microbiology, and Food Biochemistry.

- Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards like HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC, etc

- Min 15 yrs experience in food/beverages industry

- Completed Lead Auditor training in various Food Safety Management Systems

- Auditing and Training experience of minimum 5 years in food industries

- Work experience in Food /Beverage / Breweries / Packaged drinking water

Auditing and Training experience in the areas of beverage manufacturing in the areas of Food Safety Systems is desirable

Salary: Best in the FMCG industry (Should be ranging around Rs.50.0 to 60.0Lpa, although not a limiting factor)

Location: Mumbai
