General Manager - Quality

- General Manager Quality shall be responsible for central Corporate Quality.

- Represent the company for all the quality and technical requirements to the customer.

- Continuously improve the company's quality practices and standards in par with international standards.

- Shall closely work with marketing team for strategic developments such as qualifications, facility improvement etc which is essential for the growth and sustainability of the company.

- Shall head the Quality and all the teams necessary to deliver project on time.

- Shall be reporting to ED/MD.

Responsibility Deliverable.

- To manage & execute projects with world class quality there by meeting customer & management requirements.

- Analyze inspection plans to ensure minimum stage inspections by Client/TPI's.

- Post order representations to minimize inspection stages are at most important.

- Control project budget and claim management with clients.

- To work in the area of the people development that would help organization to handle customer quality requirements.

- Representing company in technical conferences and other forums.

- To ensure qualification of company on exotic metallurgy, high thickness & proprietary equipments.

Tasks & Activities.

- Review of QA & QC departments.

- Qualify company on PED, GHOST & similar certifications.

- Study feasibility and introduce TOFD & PAUT methodology and online inspection to support manufacturing activities.

- Maximize utilization of Cute QM and enable TPI's to review documents remotely thereby increasing their availability in shop floor for physical inspection to ensure avoiding job idling.

- Develop standards and procedures in engineering and quality areas process to meet customer quality requirements.

- Train engineers in quality aspects & bring in practical approach to.
