General Manager - Projects - Interior Design

Some of the key duties and responsibilities of this role :

- This role will have primary responsibility of the corporate interior division and so we are looking for someone with commercial projects exposure and experience. They would be required to have an established contact base with clients and labourers in order to pitch for and execute new orders.

1. Reporting to Chief of Projects and MD with weekly and monthly report submissions to Chief Projects and MD.

2. Total responsibility of the entire Corporate Interior Contracting Division of the Company.

- This division will operate as a separate Profit & Cost Centre.

Responsibilities includes :

- pitching and getting contracts, pricing of tenders in consultation with management entire responsibility for execution of the projects, preparing a project budget in consultation with management, managing the team, setting targets, regular billing, ensuring collection of payments and cash flow, meeting the deadlines as per commitments given to clients, ensuring profitability, deployment of manpower/ labourers within the budget and achievement of targets.

3. Compulsory site visits of all sites at least once a week.

4. Meeting revenue targets, cost budgets and profitability.

5. Ensuring compliance with the documentary requirements of project execution.

6. Site handing over- documentation and signoff.

8. Collection of retention monies and bank guarantees etc. on a timely basis.
