General Manager - Projects - Integrated Capsule Manufacturing

- Lead end-to-end greenfield and brown field projects (from concept to commissioning) as per the agreed upon timelines and cost in order to meet the business requirements.

- Develop the business cases and the overall Projects strategy for ACG Capsules

- Monitor Plan vs Actual for the projects' costs and timelines

- Monitoring of all the projects from time & cost perspective.

- Flagging of critical paths for all projects.

- Internal & external coordination / follow up to ensure the project time lines & budgeted costs.

- Ensure deliverables of the project charters are met as per the forecasted demand by working closely with cross functional teams and external stakeholders.

- Improve service levels of planning for the projects within the organization.

- Take overall responsibility for people development initiatives and building up in-house capabilities for the employees in the department

- Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members

- Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles

- Actively participate in HR initiatives to drive overall employee engagement and motivation

- Key KRAs would include Project delivery - planned vs actual, On-time delivery, Overall Projects Costs

Ideal Candidate: -

- B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering + MBA with specialization in operations

- Should have experience in both Green & Brownfield Projects

- Should have good Techno-commercial Skills and experience.

- 20- 25 years total experience, 12-15 years in pharma industry or consultancy

- At least 10 years in a position of similar responsibility

- Exposure of handling an International Project would be desirable.

- Sound Technical knowledge of Project management execution

- Should have experience in Design that will include HVAC system, water system, Utilities like Chillers, Compressors, Boilers, cooling tower & ETP, Civil Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation

- Should be experienced in Concept to Commissioning of integrated capsule manufacturing, film, foil barrier solutions, track and trace systems, packing and inspection equipment.

- Should have very good experience handling Consultants/Engineering Consultants.

- Should have good experience with PM software.

- Should be ready to work out of Mumbai Location.

- Knowledge of applicable standards/regulations pertaining to capsule manufacturing
