Designation : Job Opportunity for General Manager Products & Operations - GIT

Location : Mumbai

Job description :

1) Areas of Responsibility & brief Description :

- Responsible for achieving GOP targets for the assigned destination.

- Responsible to ensure overall smooth operations across all responsible destinations.

- Responsible to ensure all processes, systems and SLA's are strictly adhered.

- Responsible to handle escalations in a timely manner & provide profitable solutions to his team.

- Responsible for product wise trend analysis & providing feedback to the Product Team. Have an in depth understanding of customer trends, the market and competition & provide qualitative inputs to enhance product quality.

- Responsible to consolidate inventory for land / air and optimise utilization to ensure high profitability.

- Responsible for On Tour Quality checks & Customer Feedback.

- Responsible for Man management of his team

- To Maintain healthy relationship with suppliers & coordinate with the DMCs.

- Ensuring that staff is optimally utilised & thereby enhance productivity

- Assist for preparing training manuals for the Sales Training that is conducted before seasonal launch

- To ensure accuracy and timeliness for delivery by the team.

- Ensure his team sends out updated communication to sales teams on any changes in the product / price / inclusions.

3. Requirements profile

Attribute

Education & Training

Graduate in any stream with a Diploma or Degree in Travel Management.

Work experience (if adequate)

Overall 8 - 10 years of experience in the Operations Role, of which 4-5 years experienced as a single destination head & team management.

Expert Knowledge

Thorough understanding of Travel systems & procedures.

Strong knowledge about the international destinations & Profitability.

Others

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Good negotiation skills

Market Knowledge of Handling Europe is Mandatory .
