Client Details :

Our client is a leading tyre manufacturing company. Currently, they are looking for a General Manager - Product Development based out of Vadodara

Description :

Reporting to the Vice President - Product management, you will be responsible for:

- Participating in technical discussion related to product design/development discussion with customers

- Discussing and resolving quality-related issues with customer during the development stage and also post development

- Ensuring that complaints raised by OEM's and Customer service team are addressed on time

- Conducting market visits for gaining insights on the current scenario in the market

- Driving Benchmarking analysis against related products from competitors

- Undertaking projects for implementing innovative ideas to ensure competitiveness and innovation of a product and processes from a technological standpoint.

- Manage performance of team and conduct appraisals and feedback

- Ensuring that overall moral of the team is high

- Ensuring that the team is adequately trained, equipped and motivated to ensure completion of work in a safe, time and efficient manner

Profile :

Ideally, you are a Mechanical Engineer / Rubber Tech with a total of 12-18 years of work experience out of which, 8-10 years of experience in R&D in a radial tyre (Commercial / 2 Wheeler). You should have strong experience in new product development and in handling the entire product life cycle. You should possess good communication skills, interpersonal skills and leadership skills. You should have an excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment.
