We are looking out for a General Manager - Product Development with a Leading Gaming Brand
Location - Bangalore
[Gaming Industry Experience is a must]
Roles and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to lead and ensuring execution excellence in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Drive engagement, enhance productivity, improve quality for your team and keep the culture and values of the brand on top.
Your role will be pivotal in creating and grooming leaders, effective planning, and creating career growth opportunities for your team.
Create a vision of the Product for a free-to-play business and get actively involved with the aspects of User Acquisition, Monetization, Retention, Platform.
Responsible for the business growth and playing a leadership role both for the direct and indirect reports.
Evangelize product strategy and product roadmap to get the game to succeed.
You will drive the creation and execution of the Product Roadmap in coordination with large cross-functional teams, including Marketing, User acquisition, growth, etc.
Drive new innovative efforts in the areas of personalization and data analytics
Qualifications and skills:
Demonstrated experience in owning and delivering successful consumer-centric products and operations at scale.
Ability to own and direct a free-to-play business, understanding its key drivers and how they live game and its features can positively affect player behaviors and sentiment to drive business outcomes.
Should be passionate about building a great team, obsessed with solving complex problems, and committed to improving quality and operational performance.
Proven track record in shipping products on the mobile platform.
Highly committed to creating world-class products for a global audience.
The candidate should be able to manage a fast-paced delivery schedule and drive product strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implement that strategy in partnership with the other technical teams.
Start-up experience is a plus.
Demonstrable passion for driving high-quality and engaging player/consumer experience.
Experience with P&L ownership.
Should have a player-first mentality, and be intensely data-driven in prioritizing and evaluating the results of all work
Required Skills:
GM - Shall be the PnL owner for one/multiple games
Must come from a B2C background
Would be leading Tech + Product + Design + Ops
The role is based out of Bangalore - in Office
Shall be leading a 30+ team size minimum
Preferably from the gaming industry
The person would be leading the existing portfolio, to begin with, and actively involved in developing a new genre
