Job Summary:

- We are seeking a General Manager - Procurement for our commercial interior division specializing in Retail, Commercial, and Hospitality sectors.

- The role demands developing and executing strategic procurement processes and managing material acquisitions to ensure cost-effective, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

- Develop cost-effective plans for project planning, budgeting, purchasing, and scheduling.

- Centralize procurement processes to enhance efficiency and value.

BOQ & Cost Analysis:

- Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for all interior fit-out projects.

- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors.

- Oversee purchase orders and ensure cost benchmarking and zero-based costing for all materials and services.

Material Management:

- Oversee procurement of all interior materials (wooden, paint, tile, ceiling, electrical, MEP, hardware, etc) PAN India.

- Reconcile invoices and develop bids and proposals.

Vendor & Contractor Management:

- Identify and manage contractors PAN India for interior fit-out projects.

- Build a robust ecosystem for reliable vendor and contractor relations.

Collaboration & Reporting:

- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to streamline procurement processes.

- Generate detailed reports related to purchases, project costs, and procurement performance.

- Provide support to procurement team members for process updates and change management.

Policy Development:

- Develop or update procurement policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

- Experience: 5-10+ years of relevant experience in Civil, Interior, and MEP procurement for fit outs in Retail, Hospitality, or Commercial projects.

Skills & Knowledge:

- Deep understanding of individual trades and subcontractors relevant to interior fit-outs.

- Proven ability to handle PAN India procurement operations.

- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.

- Self-driven with minimal supervision and process-oriented.
