Roles & Responsibilities :

Strategic Responsibilities:

Operational Responsibilities :

1. Customer KPI Alignment: Support material availability for meeting customer expectations.

2. Supplier Relationships: Improve service quality, reduce lead times, and enhance supplier relationships.

3. Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to align with company targets.

4. Procurement Best Practices: Establish policies for scheduling and inventory aligned with industry standards.

5. Vendor Audits: Conduct audits to ensure alignment with organizational quality policies.

6. Contract Management: Supervise bidding, negotiations, and authorize contracts in compliance with policies.

7. Performance Reviews: Evaluate supplier performance and address service deficiencies.

8. Budget Oversight: Guide budget preparation and control departmental expenses.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

1. Cost Savings: Percentage reduction achieved through negotiation.

2. KPI & SLA Adherence: Alignment with departmental service-level agreements.

3. Inventory Efficiency: Number of slow-moving items and time-to-expiry management.

4. Stock Availability: Daily stock levels maintained.

5. Plan Adherence: Compliance with production plans.

6. Budget Control: Conformance to budgeted expenditures.

7. Satisfaction Metrics: Internal customer satisfaction scores.
