Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to manage all aspects of our premium restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering strong business acumen and leadership skills, capable to motivate and manage a team to deliver high performance standards in a fast paced and under pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide steady leadership with a strong attention to detail in all areas of operations, inspire excellence, and foster a positive work culture within the restaurant and bar team.
- Monitor team's moral and mentor staff, as well as ensure the HR team processes timely recruitment, training, and maintains all requisite SOPs.
- Promote a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, attention to detail, pursuit of excellent and integrity.
2. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring all SOPs both at front and back house are maintained, observed and updated at all times.
- Responsible for all compliance requirements, including but not limited to liquor and business license validity in coordination with the legal department, and other statutory requirements and ensuring all concerned department observe compliance accordingly.
- Ensuring that the front house team is adhering to all guest management SOPs and systems, including reservation, service, feedback
3. Product Excellence:
- Guide the kitchen team with insights on market trend and ensure it delivers new products on a regular basis.
- Ensure that the beverage team remains on top of beverage trends and products
- Ensuring store and inventory management are monitored and maintained to the highest standards at all times.
4. Guest Experience:
- Personally engage with guests, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded, and their feedback is valued and acted upon.
- Continuously explore and guide the team to find ways to enhance the overall guest experience.
5. Financial Management:
- Fluent in analyzing P&L. Set budget, forecast and targets for main revenue/cost/profit KPI in agreement with top management.
- Work with the finance team to analyze financial reports, trends, and actionable data to achieve or exceed profitability targets.
6. Marketing and Promotion:
- Guide the marketing team to create and execute strategies for promoting the brand and its product components, leveraging digital platforms, events, and collaborations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local influencers, media outlets, and the community to enhance the restaurant's visibility.
