Job Summary:
We're seeking a candidate with expertise in policy advocacy and business development in B2B & B2G segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Analysis and Advocacy:
- Monitor legislative developments and identify potential policy impacts on the organization's operations.
- Conduct in-depth research on policy issues, analyze potential impacts, and develop strategic advocacy positions.
- Craft policy briefs, presentations, and other communication materials to support advocacy efforts.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities in power sector by leveraging policy insights and market trends.
- Develop strategic partnerships with relevant organizations to expand market reach and influence.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and partners, assess their needs, and develop tailored proposals.
- Lead business development initiatives, including client acquisition, relationship management, and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between policy advocacy and business development strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across B2B & B2G segment.
- Organize and participate in industry events, conferences, and workshops to promote the organization's policy positions and business interests.
- Develop communication strategies to effectively engage stakeholders and manage public perception.
Qualification and Skills
- B.E. / B. Tech with minimum 15 years experience in policy advocacy, government liasioning or business development in power sector.
- Deep understanding of relevant policy areas and key decision makers.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to identify market opportunities and experience in developing business plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
