General Manager - Operations - Welding Product Manufacturing

Opening with Swedish Welding consumable product manufacturer company.

Designation : GM Operations

Location : Bhiwadi Factory

Reporting to : MD (Swedish). MD sits in plant for around 15 days in a month

Products : Stick Electrodes, Joining Flux cored Wire & Hard Facing Flux Cored Wire

Education : Preferable B. Tech/ M. Tech in Welding Technology or Mettalurgy. Else atleast a B Tech.

Experience : 16+ years of experience preferably in relevant industry i.e. Welding Electrodes manufacturing or Wire drawing company.

Should be well versed/ good in :

1. Production Management

2. Man Management ( motivator, team player)

3. QA ( Basic concepts of Quality- CAPA, why why analysis, statistical tools etc)

4. Other tools in production - 5S, Kaizens, quality circle, 6 Sigma, Lean manufacturing

5. Computers, Powerpoint, Excel

6. Data analysis/crunching

7. English Communication (written and oral both). This position shall have a lot of global exposure hence English is a must.

8. Leadership skills, Interpersonal skills, Problem solving skills and time management

9. Knowledge of ASME sections (Welding related codes)

Role and responsibilities :

This role shall be responsible for ensuring the actual achievement of Production as per plan and within given timelines.
