As a complete provider in the field of injection molding molds, mechanical engineering, and automation technology, this family-owned medium-sized company predominantly produces for the international market and enjoys the highest reputation. With over 900 employees, the company is present worldwide at ten locations for its customers. In the course of further expansion, we are seeking, on behalf of our client, a dynamic and experienced leader with extensive work experience in India. As General Manager (m(f(d) you take on the management and optimization of the Indian production company, which currently employs approximately 130 people.

The Task:

- Management of the Indian production site including responsibility for revenue, profit and personnel

- Development and implementation of a program to enhance site performance in the areas of machinery and mold manufacturing

- Establishment of a modern production strategy to leverage site advantages

- Continuous optimization of processes and workflows to increase operational efficiency and generate cost savings

- Leadership and development of employees at the Indian site

- Regular reporting to the board of directors

- Responsibility for all legal and commercial matters as well as close collaboration with the finance department at the headquarters in Germany

- Monitoring of the product portfolio, especially regarding the desired margin#

- Overall management of the operation in close coordination with the board of directors

The Profile:

Your personality:

- Strong leadership, empathy, structured work approach, integrity, and open and clear communication at all levels

- Successfully completed studies in business engineering, mechanical engineering, economics, or a comparable field of study

- At least ten years of relevant professional experience from a demanding international executive position focusing on operations and site optimization in mechanical and plant engineering

- Solid experience in the management and optimization of international sites, preferably in India

- Profound expertise in operations, international site optimization, as well as strategy development and market penetration

- Confident demeanor; coupled with communication skills in an international context and very good

- English and Indian language skills
