KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and coordinate activities of departments concerned with the production, purchase, inventory, maintenance, PPC (production planning & control), HR and Admin
- Review and plan performance & productivity of the assigned business to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures
- Monitor businesses to ensure efficient and effective coordination to optimize production within within budgetary limits.
- Oversee activities directly related to making products or providing services.
- Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities.
- Locate, select vendors and support purchase negotiations.
- Proactively ensure the highest standards of maintenance by ensuring regular reviews, checks and upgrades
- Support HR and Admin to implement requisite governance standards, adherence to laws, strong employee engagement and attracting the best talent.
CANDIDATE PROFILE DESIRED:
- Exposure to Hologram, labelling or packaging industry would be preferable.
- Strong experience in operations management along with other divisions including inventory, procurement, maintenance, PPC, HR & Admin etc.
- Preference would be from an organization that deals with B2C and end users along with having global presence. The person should have multi-dimensional experience in terms of packaging or labelling products offerings.
