GM (Operations) Electrical Equipments Like Transformers / Switchgears Etc

Job Description :

- For our Distribution and Power Transformers Manufacturing Units, we are looking for a GM (Operation Electrical Equipment's like - Transformers/Switchboards etc) with successful track record in managing multi-location operations.

- The candidate will be required to devise and execute growth strategies through innovative manufacturing techniques, advanced technologies and new product introduction to meet ever changing customers requirements.

Job Requirements :

- The candidate should be an Electrical Engineering Graduate from a reputed institute having worked with key multinational companies such as ABB, Schneider, Siemens, Alstom, GE, Crompton, Transformers and Rectifiers etc. dealing with Distribution and Power Transformers.

- The candidate must have managed operations of a Transformer Manufacturing industry having a Turn Over not less than US$:75M for a period of approximately 5 years or more as an Operations Head overseeing design, production, quality control, purchase, HR and post-sales activities.

- Experience in GCC countries would be an added advantage.

- In addition the candidate should be well versed with defining and refining desired industry processes including skill matrix, performance monitoring and motivation plans, production optimization, introduction of LEAN Systems, preparing MIS Norms on productivity and P & L reporting etc.

- The candidate needs to be a strategic planner and should be able to identify and implement innovative growth plans keeping long terms value creation in mind.

- The candidate must have an experience in Sales, Business/Product Development, Plant/Factory Management, Customer Handling/ Management.

Position Specifications :

- Age 40-50 years

- BE - Electrical/B.Tech - Electrical / MBA from premium institutes

- 15 to 20 years- experience in Sales, Product development, Plant operations for an Electrical Product Company ( products such as Transformers, Switchboards, etc )

- Experience in setting up green field projects and / or scaling up operations necessary

- Exposure to Business Development necessary (i.e. a combination of Industrial Selling as Factory Manager and Plant Operations / Setting up new plants is required in the course of his career)

- Work for good Indian or MNC companies in India and Also Indians or locals working in the Middle East already (we need both)
