Our client is an leading manufacturer of industrial power transmission and conveyor chains in south of India

Description

The candidate will be responsible for:

- Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental issues, Company Value System are prioritized and facilitated, direct and drive implementation of Lean Business strategy and drive Continuous Improvement across all manufacturing related areas of the business.

- Taking Strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing manufacturing strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery, maximizing efficiency, optimizing production levels and driving operational excellence.

- Working closely with internal and external key stakeholders, regarding technical support for activities, striving for best in class products and business practices to deliver to the customer's expectations, managing teams and projects across the business.

- Providing clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills. Drive Key Performance Indicators across all areas of the Manufacturing function to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost and on time to the highest quality standards.

- Preparing and executing annual operating plan and to align all sub-department with organization business plan in the area of head counts, man power efficiency, Machine utilization level, Capacity planning, Energy management, work in progress inventory management and major cost centers like Direct Material and Direct Labor cost expenditures.

- Preparing and Monitoring of Monthly/ Weekly/ Daily production plans, evaluates the effectiveness of the plan midstream and takes corrective action as required

Profile

Ideally you have 15+ years of work experience and are full time engineering degree in mechanical/automobile/production in leading a manufacturing setup in automotive/heavy engineering industry. You should possess good communication skills, interpersonal skills and leadership skills. You should have an excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment.
