General Manager - Operations

Job Description:

- Someone that is used to hustle & comes with good experience, to organize and oversee all our operations that are spread across cities.

- Leading Retail Ops, Supply Chain & Warehouse Teams.

- The candidate must have previous experience working closely with founders or senior leadership while having setup businesses at the ground level.

- This role has to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its systems, processes, procedures and mentoring different HOD's and their teams.

- The incumbent must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company's operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.

- This role will be performing a lot of data analysis and use their result to help make strategic business decisions and hence someone who is well versed with advance excel or has used similar tools / software would be preferred.

Skills and Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

1) Manage & lead a team of 4 direct reportees.

2) Exemplary Leadership skills

3) Highly organized, Outstanding Communication Skills Verbal and Written.

4) Managed franchise partners and 3 PL partner's

5) Resident of Mumbai

6) Graduate / Post Graduate in Business Management or similar field preferable from premium institute.

7) Minimum 5 years' experience at a managerial level (regional manager, zonal manager or above), Ice-cream background preferred, Understands frozen supply chain

8) F&B or QSR background

9) Conducted store openings

10)Exposure / in depth knowledge to different verticals of a business (core ops, supply chain, procurement)

11) Managed teams remotely

12)Has an understanding of markets outside of Mumbai (at least important ones like Bangalore, Delhi & Hyderabad)

13)Used to hustling (definitely not someone that has currently a very comfortable position where there isn't much drive)

14) Strong understanding of P&L

15)Taken tough decision on cost savings

16)Current company turnover is at least 50 Cr, preferably 100 Cr or more

17)Built SOPs

18)Comfortable with travel

19) Fluid in a few languages like Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telgu(preferred not mandate)

20)Grown an earlier or existing company

21) Familiar with benefits of ESOPs
