We have a job opening with one of our renowned client, we are looking for :

Position - Network Security GM

Location- Chennai

Job Description :

To lead company Datacenter Operations team for deployment of customer projects; to monitor, manage and report Datacenter service operations and service delivery as per agreed SLA and drive certification and compliance to regulatory requirements. with the objective of ensuring uptime of datacenter operations to meet organizational goals and customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

1.Capacity Planning and Budgeting Discuss capacity requirements with Product teams and Engineering and review existing capacity; Guide team on preparing budget requirement for vendor contracts for existing and new services, setup of new datacenter or floor and share CAPEX, OPEX requirement with Finance. Performance Metrics - # Performance against budget.

2. Customer On boarding and Service Delivery Guide team to provide inputs on existing capacity to Feasibility team (CSO) during pre-sales; Allocate resources to respond to schedule assigned by project manager; Participate in kick off meeting with customer, project manager and Sales team to understand customer requirement and define timelines for project delivery; Provide inputs to team to conduct assessment of customer environment to map to DC (such as server dimension, rack customisation, cooling requirement, peak consumption etc); Discuss and review project status with project manager and other relevant teams periodically; Monitor timelines for closing schedule and take corrective actions incase of escalated issues in large or complex projects. Performance Metrics - # CSAT index.

3. Service Assurance Guide team to monitor datacenter operations (such as power backup, chiller plans, security management etc) and ensure uptime of infrastructure; Interface with customers incase of escalated issues or outages and drive mitigation plans; Guide team to monitor and provide remote hand service for non IDC equipment stored in DC locations. Performance Metrics - # OLA and SLA Reviews # Uptime records

4. Certification/Audit Compliance Drive certification for IDC team; Participate in audit kick off meetings; Interface and discuss reviews with auditors; Discuss and highlight risks to management to take business decisions on next steps; Discuss action plans with relevant teams and monitor implementation. Performance Metrics - # Audit results # Compliance certification

5. Vendor Management Guide team to define scope and evaluate vendors for technical services such as fire and safety, building management software etc; Review proof of concept and recommend shortlisted vendors to Commercial team for price negotiation; Participate in discussion and negotiation with vendors on defining SLAs to ensure alignment with SLAs committed to customers; Review performance metrics for vendor and take corrective actions in case of escalations. Performance Metrics - # Vendor SLA # Internal/external stakeholder feedback

6. Team Development Regularly review team structure and assess talent requirements; participate in the recruitment and selection process; conduct goal setting and performance review for the team; drive team development, engagement and reward initiatives; coach and mentor team members as required and ensure resolution of any people issues. Performance Metrics - # Team engagement # % attrition # Manpower cost and productivity .

Candidate should have experience into managing Network & Security for Data Centers.
