General Manager - National Sales Manager - Consumer Electronics/FMCD

Location: Kolkata

Reports to: VP-Sales

Reportees: Direct: Zonal Sales Managers ; Indirect : Area Managers & Sales Executive

Geography : Entire Country

Responsible for: Distribution Sales

Brief KRAs :

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies

- Developing creative strategies with Channel partners to expand sales with continuous retail development, expand sales, market adaptation, enhance sales performance & achieve profits.

- Deliver defined business numbers for General Trade in a highly demanding environment with complete process adherence

- Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets

- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs

- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency

- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board

- Motivating, mentoring, guiding and monitoring the entire sales team within the set parameters

Skills & Competencies :

- Proven work experience as a National Sales Manager or at least a Zonal Manager with exposure in 3- 4 regions

- Experience in managing a high performance sales team

Education : MBA

Years of experience : 15 -20 years

Must be currently working either in Consumer Electronics ( Small gadgets) or Consumer Durable ( Small appliances) or Luggage companies or Tableware / Cookware industries

Stability in career is mandatory ( No recent joinees or frequent changes in career will be accepted)
