M&A Team Overview

The M&A team acts as the in-house team and is responsible for driving M&A and business development, globally. Over the years, the team has successfully executed and closed multiple transactions across various sectors in addition to having evaluated a significantly larger number and volume of transactions across diverse sectors. The broad areas of influence of the M&A team include:

- Strategic think tank of the Group for various acquisition, divestitures, investment management and new business initiatives

- Idea generation, industry and business evaluation, transaction origination, structuring and execution with the ultimate objectives of shareholder value maximization along with risk mitigation

- Overall project management by collaborating with various functional teams (legal/tax/secretarial/finance etc.), strategic business units, advisory teams and counter parties involved in a transaction

- Provide post transaction support and monitor investment returns, as required

The incumbent would be an integral part of the M&A team and will independently lead and drive the various aspects of transactions working with members of the M&A teams as well as various other internal and external stakeholders.
