We are hiring a seasoned and dynamic GENERAL MARKETING MANAGER - GENERIC MEDICINE SEGMENT (preferably trade generic business segment) with minimum 14 - 20 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industries for a leading pharmaceutical industry in India!
Location: Nahur, Mumbai (on-site)
Ideal candidate: 14-20 years of experience working as a General Marketing Manager within the pharmaceutical industry in the generic medicine segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial:
- To Increase Market share for ensuring profit.
- Responsible for revenue generation across products and regions and ensuring yields across products with the help of field force.
Operational:
- Ensure quality of distributor activities and Area Sales managers across regions.
- Implementation of Billing targets at all India levels.
- Responsible for interacting with foreign principals on technical support and commercial/pricing matters.
- To keep a tab on arithmetic calculations, pricing structures, gross margin and profitability.
- Responsible for Marketing and Sales and works through Marketing Managers and Regional Managers to achieve top line market share and achieve revenue and brand objectives
- Prepare Business Plan on business design, structure, process and operating plan and financial model.
- Strategize and plan the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, key account management, expenses, profitability, new product development, market research and brand strategy.
- Periodically review distributor performance through Regional Managers and check on gaps in performance and seek reasons and actionable steps to close the gaps.
Customer:
Establish and Develop relationships with key customers by securing customer loyalty and forging strong relationships in order to develop advocates to communicate key messages to the medical community.
People:
- Participate in the recruitment process, allocate targets, track, monitor, review and guide performance, provide developmental feedback, suggest training programs and facilitate the developmental process for the regional sales team.
