General Manager - Marketing - FMCG

1. Tracking market/industry, consumer behavior, global market trends and organizational positioning.

2. Conceptualization and execution of business strategies/plans to leverage market potential through appropriate market positioning in existing markets and developing new markets.

3. P&L responsibility across categories and product lines in a sustainable manner.

4. Consistently aligning emerging distribution channels for product positioning.

5. Working on brand recall.

6. Collaboration with R&D and Operations team for timely development of new products, production and availability respectively.

7. Compliances of statutory provisions. (internal and external)

8. Consistently tracking market share, competition activities and consumer behavior in order to initiate course correction measures proactively to help maintain/enhance market share.

9. Developing media strategies and aligning Media, Trade, Promos (sales and consumer) with the accountability of the organization's P&L.

10. Develop framework & processes for the Marketing function (Aligning various internal and external stakeholders).

11. Spearhead new product developments in sync with changing consumer needs and current business portfolios to achieve the top line in alignment with R&D.

12. Marketing budget formulation as per Annual Business Plan and ensure periodic tracking of the same.

13. As a member of leadership team develop team to leverage their potential and collaborate cross functionally to achieve business objectives.

14. Overseeing the entire Marketing function, regularly coach the team members and personally lead by example.

15. Evaluating and developing company marketing strategy and plan.

16. Ensuring alignment of marketing strategy with company plan and revenue.
