This organization extends the reach of a brand's direct distribution networks to deep rural markets. It enables access to a set of net new stores and customers for the brands, which were not accessible through the traditional distribution networks. About the role:
Job Title : B2B Rural-Brand lead
Designation - General Manager - Marketing
Reports to : Founder
Location : Pune
Key Metrics:
P&L of key brands (GMV/Month)
Key Deliverables:
Brand Strategy & Development:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies for private label products to achieve revenue targets
2. Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape
3. Create brand positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonates with target customers
4. Drive digital marketing, social media, content marketing, brand campaigns, ATL & BTL initiatives, channel marketing to build brand salience and drive sales
5. Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including packaging, advertisements, and promotional content.
P&L of Key Brands:
1. Develop pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product launches to maximize sales
2. Collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue of the key brands
3. Own the P&L for the key brands
Product Development:
1. Work closely with inhouse quality team and manufacturers, to ensure products meet brand quality standards and consumer expectations
2. Identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements to existing products
3. Manage the lifecycle of private label products, from concept to market launch cNPS
4. Conduct customer surveys, focus groups, and feedback sessions to gain insights into customer preferences and satisfaction
5. Utilize customer insights to refine brand strategies and improve product offerings

Experience:
a) 7-10 years of experience in brand strategy, management in FMCG industry. MBA in Sales & Marketing from Tier 1 institute
b) Proven track record of managing working capital and inventory optimization
c) Hands on experience of growing FMCG brands in semi-urban and rural markets
